Production Team Leader -2nd Shift PACCAR

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities by coordinating manpower, assigning work, facilitating pre-shift meetings, managing break relief, and ensuring clear shift hand-off communication.
• Ensure safe operations by enforcing Magna/OSHA standards, conducting pre-shift inspections and safety talks, maintaining evacuation routes, and responding immediately to accidents and investigations.
• Drive production performance by operating equipment as needed, supporting start-ups, monitoring WIP and inventory, achieving first-time quality, and meeting efficiency and delivery targets.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation, including hourly production data, downtime tracking, performance reporting, and up-to-date work instructions.
• Coach, train, and develop team members through on-the-job training, performance feedback, and skills development; provide recommendations on training and performance needs.
• Foster strong cross-functional communication and team leadership by supporting company vision, resolving issues objectively, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring consistent execution across shifts.

Position Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Work Experience / Technical Training: Must currently hold or be able to attain a forklift license.
• Must exemplify excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and oral.
• Good mathematical, analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work in various locations within and outside the plant.

Pay

Pay range: $27.65 - $30.63 annual salary
