Production Team Lead
About the role
Taylor Corporation is seeking a Team Lead to oversee a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key responsibilities include coordinating daily activities, guiding team members, facilitating communication, monitoring performance, managing team projects, addressing issues, and preparing performance reports.
Responsibilities
- Inform the Supervisor of jobs in jeopardy of missing a due date.
- Guide and motivate team members to achieve their objectives and maintain high performance.
- Serve as the main point of contact between team members and upper management, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Maintain and monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
- Oversee team projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Identify training needs and support the professional growth of team members.
- Address any issues or conflicts within the team, providing solutions and support as needed.
- Prepare and present team performance reports to management.
- Perform assigned operational duties to the standards.
Requirements
- May require an associate's degree or its equivalent and experience in the field or in a related area.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Able to work collaboratively, adapt to changing situations, and inspire others.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing.
Shift
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 - 32.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
