Production Team Lead – 3rd Shift | Food Manufaturing

About the role

Rosina Food Products is seeking a Production Team Lead to join their Operations team. This role involves leading and directing production associates, promoting a safe and efficient work environment, and collaborating with Shift Managers to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct production associates throughout the shift.
• Promote a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
• Monitor production to ensure quality, efficiency, and adherence to production standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor new associates and machine operators.
• Monitor employee performance and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Partner with Shift Managers to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately.
• Communicate equipment, staffing, material, and production concerns to leadership.
• Aid in production planning and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Assist with supervisor coverage when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMPs, sanitation standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Experience leading or training production teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
• Mechanical aptitude and manufacturing knowledge.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with production or manufacturing software is a plus.
