Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

New Flyer is seeking a Team Lead to supervise and guide a team within the production environment. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency and maintain high standards of quality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and supervise daily activities of the team to meet production targets
• Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and quality standards
• Implement best practices and company policies to enhance workflow and productivity
• Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to improve skill sets
• Maintain accurate documentation of production and labor data
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and management
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

• Proven and consistent experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges
