Production Team: Garment Make-Up

About the role

The Garment Make-Up department assists the Production Supervisor or other facility manager in processing garments efficiently and meeting quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
• Organize garments by route and stop number
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
• Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping
• Follow all safety policies and medical guidelines
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

Requirements

• A high school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for at least an 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Ability to lift 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Hours of work: Forty-hour schedule with additional mandatory overtime possible including weekends
• Breaks: Two 10-minute breaks (one morning and one afternoon), one unpaid 30-minute meal break

Schedule

Production personnel are assigned a forty-hour schedule. The hours of work depend upon production requirements. Additional mandatory overtime may be assigned which includes weekends.
