Production Team: Garment Associate

About the role

Sohn Linen Service is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Member to join our Garment Department. You will be working as a team to ensure customer garments are always in exceptional condition through quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
• Organize garments by route and stop number
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
• Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping
• Follow all safety policies and medical guidelines
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management

Requirements

• A high school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for at least an 8-hour shift
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
• Ability to lift 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.

Schedule

The hours of work depend upon production requirements. Additional mandatory overtime may be assigned which includes weekends. Two 10-minute breaks are provided, one morning break and one afternoon break. An unpaid 30-minute meal break is provided.
