Production Team 2nd and 3rd Shifts

The Production Team Member (Casting & Finishing) role at MacLean Power Systems (MPS) is located at 200 W Rock St, Mankato, MN. This position is available on both 2nd Shift (2:00 pm – 10:00 pm) and 3rd Shift (10:00 pm – 6:00 am), with a shift differential of $1.25/hour extra for evening and overnight schedules.

MPS is a leading manufacturer of mission-critical and engineered components for the electric utility, telecommunications, and civil markets. The Production Team Member (Casting & Finishing) plays a crucial role in the casting and finishing departments, ensuring that every piece produced meets the high standards expected by customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle the creation of molds and cores, manage the pouring of molten iron, and perform quality assurance tests in the Casting Department.
• Serve as the final "quality gate" in the Finishing Department, using grinders, de-gating tools, and specialized equipment to bring castings to exact customer specifications.

Earning Potential

The starting pay for this role is $24.98/hour, with rapid increases of 3 pay raises within the first year of employment. Additionally, there is a $1.25/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
