About the role
Develop, implement, improve and train the tools and methods of the BSH/Bosch Production Systems (BPS) in Region North America, which include the CDC’s and RDC’s. Lead and develop others to lead, ensure continuous improvement activities involving management, operators, and other relevant parties in order to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities

- Create and implement the right environment and culture for BPS.
- Directly support and mentor others through problem solving, continuous improvement activities, and development of processes.
- Collaborate with management team to develop and maintain Future State Value Stream target(s) and long-term project strategies.
- Facilitate and mentor the use of BPS Daily Leadership Routines; Gemba Walks, Shop Floor Management Cycle, and (LPC) Layered Process Confirmation.
- Organize and lead BPS assessments, facilitate and help select projects and topics that are of benefit to the organization (increase maturity levels).
- Train the organization in lean methods, elements and principles based on BSH/Bosch BPS standards.
- Facilitate System CIP Workshops, mentor project leads and the overarching BPS improvable system; System CIP to Point CIP to Daily Leadership Routines.
- Facilitate workshops and/or training sessions related to BPS topics such as: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, TPM, Factory Strategy, and other Lean Improvements.
- Implement solutions and best practices, partnering with all levels of associates across all functions.
- Identify areas/topics in the site (both direct and indirect) where lean improvement activities are needed, lead cross-functional teams to achieve sustainable improvements e.g. OEE.
Requirements
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related field. Plus 7 years of experience as a Lean Manager, Improvement Manager or in an occupation involving Manufacturing Systems.
- Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) LEAN Manufacturing; (2) Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain; (3) Lean methods and principles; (4) Six Sigma and Shainin; and (5) Microsoft Office products & Visio.
Qualifications
- Wage range: $107,182 - $172,164.
- Travel Requirements: 10%, domestic and international travel.
- Telecommuting: 1-2 days/week remote.
