About the Role

The Occasions Group, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a temporary Production Assembly and Support team member in Sunman, IN.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cutting, wrapping products, using tape dispensers, and operating foot controls
• Pack products in boxes, tape lids shut for shipping, and inspect for quality defects
• Stack, pack, and transport printed materials on pallets as they accumulate on delivery tables
• Read and follow specific job instructions to produce orders according to specifications
• Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and work constructively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors
• Float across departments to assist where needed
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and standards
• Perform duties while standing, with occasional seated tasks

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions from work orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures
• Effective communication skills with fellow employees
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operate machinery and handle products, including print materials
• Frequently move inside the facility
• Regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25+ pounds

Schedule

1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
