Production Support Technician - Integrated Solutions

Responsibilities

• Sort, distribute, shelf/store components received for job assignments.
• Pack and prepare materials for shipment or transfer to other company sites or vendors.
• Prepare accurate labeling for shipping.
• Move, unload, stage and store materials utilizing lifting equipment such as fork trucks and pallet jacks.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Assist with assembling metalwork and handling of sheet metal goods.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance.
• May be required to cross train, supporting other sections of the Company.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of previous Inventory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• OSHA10, CPR, Forklift experience and/or certification, AutoCAD experience, a plus!
• Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.

• Able to pass certification to use of lifting/moving equipment such as a pallet jack and fork truck.
• High dedication to quality of results to avoid rework.

Physical Requirements

• Typical of a Manufacturing/Warehouse floor.
• May be cold in winter, warm in summer.
• Noise level commensurate with machine operation, fork trucks, general industrial activity.
• Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary.
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/blueprint.
• Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
• Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
