Production Support/Saw Opertor

Job Summary

American Bin and Conveyor is seeking a Production Support/Saw Operator at its Burlington, Wisconsin facility. The position involves preparing materials and components for fabrication through cutting, staging, kitting, and material handling activities. Key responsibilities include operating vertical and horizontal band saws, assembling production kits, staging materials for welders and fabricators, and assisting with various fabrication support functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and interpret written work instructions and prints.
• Cut steel and materials according to drawings and cut lists.
• Prepare and stage materials for fabrication and welding.
• Assemble and package production kits.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and shop equipment.
• Maintain organized work areas and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with press brake and plasma operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th.
• Basic blueprint reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available).
• Ability to operate overhead cranes (experience a plus).
• Manufacturing, fabrication, or material handling experience preferred.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the workday.
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Agree to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19. No benefits are listed.
