Responsibilities
- Analyze production issues, defects, and service requests to determine root cause and recommend resolution.
- Coordinate resolution of production issues and communicate with Business and Technology stakeholders.
- Document root cause and contribute to the production support knowledge base.
- Participate in User Acceptance and End-to-End testing, including planning, preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Provide support to production systems and new development by coordinating efforts, sharing knowledge, and communicating across impacted teams.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement to increase overall efficiency and quality.
- Manage service delivery governance to support core application development teams in progressing technology deliverables through the SDLC lifecycle.
- Establish and manage application health checks in production environments to ensure efficient progress through SDLC cycles.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, tester, or analyst supporting multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions using technologies/frameworks such as Java EE, Spring, RDBMS, ORM, and REST.
- 6+ years in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., architecture, process re-engineering, development, verification).
- Experience with HTTP and design patterns applicable to RESTful web applications.
- Ability to query relational databases to perform production analysis.
- Experience building strong relationships through Agile team(s) and personal performance.
- Ability to collaborate in a multiple-team environment.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related major.
- Desired: Master’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Desired: Expertise in Secure Coding and Secure Development Life Cycle.
- Desired: Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Skills
- Experience with single-page application frameworks (e.g., React).
- Experience supporting client stakeholders with varying levels of Agile experience.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Pay
The proposed salary range for this position in Maryland is $120,000 to $140,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
