About the role

The Production Supervisor directly supervises all employees assigned to the department on various shifts, carrying out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Five years of manufacturing experience (corrugated packaging is a plus)
• Strong, proven leadership qualities

Skills

• Language: Ability to read and understand English; interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write reports and correspondence
• Mathematical: Calculate percentages, measurements, volume, and rates; apply high school math concepts
• Reasoning: Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or graphic form; handle problems with several variables
• Computer: Familiar with Microsoft Office and software for tracking starch usage and updating quality-related data for food safety compliance; basic understanding of manufacturing processes, including inventory management and ordering

Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, high or low precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration
