Warby Parker is seeking a data-driven, experienced Production Supervisor for our in-house optical manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, NV. This role oversees 1st shift production, leading a team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ hourly employees in a specific manufacturing department
- Deliver regular feedback, mentor through one-on-ones and quarterly check-ins, and identify development opportunities
- Communicate daily production goals and metrics, maintaining accountability for throughput and performance
- Identify new ways to streamline processes in your department
- Ensure safety practices are followed and conduct job-specific trainings
- Partner with the Production Manager to identify strengths and opportunities for each Associate’s continued success
- Lead by example, continuously coaching and promoting accountability
- Conduct trainings, coaching, and monitoring using functional knowledge of all lab positions
- Direct Associates to lend support in other departments as needed
- Drive production to meet or exceed specified goals
- Maintain safety standards, monitor breakage, and provide timely feedback
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience, including at least 12 months of production experience in a leadership role
- Experience leading or managing a team or project
- Strong work ethic and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done right
- Excellent communication skills (in person, email, etc.)
- Obsessive attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours and perform physical tasks (push, pull, squat, bend, reach) with or without reasonable accommodation
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Pay
Warby Parker offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive base salary/hourly rate and variable compensation for eligible employees. The range listed is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting, with final compensation determined by qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market data. Non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay if required to work more than 40 hours in a workweek.
