About the role

The Kinetic Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team in a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Sr Manager Factory Operations, this position is based in Lonoke, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily leadership in assigned area, coordinating activities of employees, equipment, and department to ensure safety practices, quality standards, and meeting production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate employee time and attendance records in TimeCentre.
  • Promote a team-oriented work environment through open communication, cooperation, mutual respect, and trust.
  • Analyze production performance, identify capacity issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Identify and develop training requirements for employees, ensuring competency in assigned jobs.
  • Interface with various manufacturing support groups and other departments to improve business activities.
  • Communicate essential departmental activities to the next shift, ensuring smooth operation.
  • Manage inventory, address discrepancies, and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from a College or University (preferred, but not required)
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a machine-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and an automated time and attendance system preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with other departments
  • Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver daily performance requirements and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Must have a solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and an automated time and attendance system preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Accepts accountability for own performance and performance of direct team members as it relates to all pertinent business requirements and activities.

Pay

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The pay range is $63,500.00 - $88,800.00.
