About the role
The Kinetic Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team in a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Sr Manager Factory Operations, this position is based in Lonoke, Arkansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership in assigned area, coordinating activities of employees, equipment, and department to ensure safety practices, quality standards, and meeting production schedules.
- Maintain accurate employee time and attendance records in TimeCentre.
- Promote a team-oriented work environment through open communication, cooperation, mutual respect, and trust.
- Analyze production performance, identify capacity issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Identify and develop training requirements for employees, ensuring competency in assigned jobs.
- Interface with various manufacturing support groups and other departments to improve business activities.
- Communicate essential departmental activities to the next shift, ensuring smooth operation.
- Manage inventory, address discrepancies, and take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a College or University (preferred, but not required)
- Two years of supervisory experience in a machine-oriented manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and an automated time and attendance system preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and interact with other departments
- Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver daily performance requirements and continuous improvement activities
Qualifications
- Must have a solid understanding of safe work habits, manufacturing processes, inventory control, and quality control methods.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar) and an automated time and attendance system preferred.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Accepts accountability for own performance and performance of direct team members as it relates to all pertinent business requirements and activities.

Pay
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The pay range is $63,500.00 - $88,800.00.
