Production Supervisor-Nightt Shift

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Drive company to achieve goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating flow of production.
• Effectively manage labor to meet plant labor productivity & cost goals by coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequence.
• Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions.
• Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
• Train and understand all existing and new production equipment; create and/or review training documentation to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
• Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
• Accurately record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in a timely manner.
• Analyze and submit daily reporting on performance and progress as it relates to production, quality, safety, staffing, and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, stooping, squatting (up to 75%).
• Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
• Frequent typing/keyboarding/preparing documents.

Skills

• Leadership skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Outlook proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Word/PowerPoint.

Benefits

Work outside normal hours expected based on business demand.

Leaders may be expected to work off-shift and weekends.
