Quality

  • Follow recipes and deviations at all times. Unauthorized deviations are strictly forbidden.
    Comply with all regulatory rules, procedures and work practices.
    Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
    Maintain confidential information on recipes.
    Report all deviations from the recipe.

Operations

  • Quality procedures and policies are followed to include HACCP, NQS, SSOP, FTQ.
    Attend fresh and frozen panels and follow up promptly.
    Assure all associates understand quality parameters.
    Take every reasonable and positive action to meet productivity goals daily.
    Assure GMP’s are understood and followed by all associates.
    Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    Motivate your team to achieve results and deliver success against key safety, quality, productivity, and performance metrics.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • B.S. Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration is preferred, or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food processing, packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and knowledge of GMP’s.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Continuous Improvement environment (Lean manufacturing or TPM preferred).
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and listening).
  • Ability to adjust communication style to multiple audiences, facilitate group coaching, and information sharing.
  • Ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance through effective "soft skills".
  • Excellent people skills – maintain a positive attitude and ability to motivate people, specifically mentoring and coaching individuals in identifying short- and long-term development needs and providing appropriate support.
  • Confidence in own capacity and judgment. Must be willing to face challenging situations.
  • Developed ability to build personal relationships based on trust, mutual respect and open communication.
