Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the production line to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and six sigma tools to optimize production processes.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain high product standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments for production planning and scheduling, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Identify areas for procedural improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the production team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Report on production activities and performance indicators to senior management.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the Manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing tools and six sigma tools.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing procedural improvements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Schedule

This is a pitman shift with a 2-3-2 schedule.

Pay

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
