Production Supervisor - Millroom (3rd shift Weekends)

About the role

The Manufacturing Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing department to meet safety, quality, delivery, and budgetary goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of a manufacturing department
• Oversee the operation of the manufacturing department
• Maintain ERP system
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing methods to manage department
• Ensure a safe work environment
• Support company objectives, interact professionally with other departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve problems and ensure a timely flow of information

Requirements

• Associates degree in a technical field preferred
• Minimum five years of experience in rubber and/or composites manufacturing preferred
• Two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Two years of experience in a military subcontracting environment preferred
• Led by example

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shifts are Friday, Saturday, Sunday with 12-hour shifts starting at 5am or 6am.
