Production Supervisor - Manufacturing, Life Sciences
Why Do We Need You?
The Production Supervisor for 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F) oversees material flow across injection molding, machining, and annealing processes for 2nd shift operation team. This role drives efficiency, quality, and operational excellence through a zero-defect approach, ensuring parts are made right the first time. The supervisor collaborates with engineering, tooling/machine shop, assembly, and supply chain teams to support process improvements, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop SOPs and Work Instructions.
- Leading setup time reduction initiatives
- Monitoring downtime
- Implementing productivity measurement systems
- Managing recycling programs for scrap and purge
- Ensuring equipment maintenance
- Scheduling and executing employee training
- Driving WCM cost-saving projects
Maintaining a strong focus on employee safety and accurate production reporting is also a key responsibility.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required)
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
- 5+ years manufacturing experience in supervising manufacturing processes (required)
- Excellent analytical skills, hands-on approach, proactive safety approach, and sense of urgency in problem solving (required)
- Ability to read blueprints and do FMEA & PFMEA analysis (required)
- Familiarity with MRP system(s) like SAP/QAD (required)
- Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
- Background in WCM (World Class Manufacturing) or similar cost-saving initiatives (preferred)
Pay, Benefits, and Schedule

We believe in the importance of pay transparency and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position is $81,500 to $139,150.
