Production Supervisor II (Night Shift)
Main Accountabilities
Direct all functions of operations to ensure best practices and that employees adhere to proper safe work practices and maintenance programs.
Drive the operational excellence, continuous improvement, safety and environmental programs at the elevator to ensure a productive, safe working environment.
Manage grain inventories, storage, grain quality, blending techniques and barge/truck scheduling.
Manage the operational expenses associated with the annual budget, collaborate with others to develop long range business plans and create/execute the annual capital expenditure plan to maintain the integrity of the facility and grow the business.
Oversee all major strategic projects to ensure targets are met.
Maintain company specific software and operation systems.
Manage the hiring and training/development processes.
Management/Leadership
Strong teamwork and leadership skills required.
Education/Experience
- Technical College Degree/Certification and 3+ years’ elevator experience or equivalent preferred.
- A High School graduate or equivalent required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in company specific software and operation systems.
- Solid computer skills, including Email, Excel, Microsoft Word, and other technical software packages is preferred.
- Expert understanding of policies and procedures.
- Exceptional people management skills and ability to develop staff members.
- Strong communication skills required.
Work Schedule
12-hour rotating shift (48 hour week/36 hour week)
