Production Supervisor I

About the role

Perform functions to lead, manage, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day production and quality standards on assigned shift to maximize production efficiency and labor utilization while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems; develop, recommend, and initiate action steps that provide resolution to achieve positive results.
• Prepare the work center to run according to schedule and ensure production goals and standards are met.
• Upload programs into routers, learn and understand the workings of the machines, and utilize computers and tablets in their area.
• Move material within or to/from workstations to meet operational needs.
• Follow proper processes for performing inspections, ensuring accuracy, and allowing for continuous monitoring for defects. If defects are found, the product must be sent to be reworked.
