Production Supervisor General

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
  • Organize workflow and manpower to meet daily production schedules and operational targets.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure equipment and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and consistently.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational performance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and servant leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hourly employees, union representatives, and plant leadership.
  • Enforce workplace safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Administer and interpret the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) consistently and effectively.
  • Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office applications.

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure and challenging situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, or unionized environment.
  • Experience administering labor agreements or working within a collective bargaining environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and standardized work practices.
