PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the role

Responsible for setting up and maintaining food production and quality control of food items prepared in the kitchen.

Location: Pembroke Pines Charter School - 8400 West Cypress Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL, 33025.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items necessary for assigned area.
• Assigns specific duties to associates under supervision for efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Ensures proper storage and handling of products; uses portion, presentation and recipe controls.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including food and non-food working areas.
• Reports equipment repair/maintenance to appropriate supervisor or facility department.
• Supervises team members in absence of Sous Chef; disciplines, trains and schedules associates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience assisting with food preparation, production, portioning, packaging, and labeling.
• Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
• Chartwells K-12 maintains a drug‑free workplace.
