Production Supervisor-First Shift

About the role
Responsible for effectively operating assigned shift while meeting company goals for safety, quality, delivery and cost. This particular open position is for a 12-hour shift in injection molding.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a presence on the shop floor at least 90% of the time
- Ensure that plant safety rules are enforced
- Ensure that union contract and policies are enforced
- Work with materials and Quality to ensure delivery and quality requirements are achieved
- Ensure existing manufacturing processes are being followed:
- Start-up and shut-down procedures
- First and last piece inspection
- Hourly quality checks
- 5 S practices
- Safety devices in use and procedures followed
