Production Supervisor - Day Shift

What’s the Job?

The Production Supervisor oversees daily production activities, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety protocols. Key responsibilities include:

• Directly supervising hourly production employees
• Utilizing manpower, work in progress, and operational adjustments effectively
• Communicating expectations, measuring performance, providing coaching, and administering disciplinary actions
• Maintaining production processes and quality standards
• Training employees on equipment operation and following standard procedures
• Leading safety meetings and training sessions
• Conducting root-cause analysis and implementing countermeasures for production losses
• Coordinating with the Production Planner to maintain production schedules and changes
• Entering production, efficiency, and waste data into SAP
• Maintaining workplace organization and adhering to waste management and recycling responsibilities
• Reviewing and approving employee timekeeping

Qualifications

• A 4-year degree preferred (equivalent experience may be considered)
• 3+ years of supervisory experience (manufacturing preferred), with 1-2 years in roofing manufacturing preferred
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and Six Sigma
• General understanding of ISO methodologies (ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in using MS Office, with familiarity with UKG and SAP a plus

Work Schedule

This position is on the night shift from 7AM to 7PM and works a rotating schedule. Employees must also be available for the day shift from 7AM to 7PM on a rotating basis.
