Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Confirm operators are working safely, adhering to all policies and procedures
- Ensure correct orders are run in a timely manner in the order that makes most sense to the business in Liquid and Dry
- Ensure operators are following procedures to reduce quality errors
- Verify IFS is up-to-date, correct, and all shop orders are closed out
- Fill out an incident report if a situation occurs that violates policy and/or procedure
- Report out shift notes every work day
- Daily Schedule adherence utilizing Visual Management, IFS and hour-by-hour document
- Daily Visual Management updating
- Inventory counts daily
- Work with Maintenance to ensure equipment runs properly
- Covid 19 safe workplace playbook adherence
- Delegation of daily work to each report including hour by hour creation
- Training of all employees on new rules and regulations and equipment, as well as new hires
- Help to resolve issues and disputes
- Evaluate performance and provide feedback
- Lead your team by example
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises employees in the Production Department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
- Plans, assigns, and directs work.
- Appraises performance.
- Rewards and disciplines employees.
- Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
