Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with company standards and OSHA requirements.
  • Establish and manage all incoming and outgoing material flows, including raw materials, components, consumables, and finished goods.
  • Develop supplier relationships, execute purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production start-up.
  • Set up and maintain the plant’s purchasing and inventory control processes, including system data, supplier files, and material master records.
  • Cookware operations, including receiving, storage, stock accuracy, picking, and dispatch.
  • Implement and monitor inventory management procedures to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excess.
  • Develop production material plans aligned with daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation, including delivery notes, packing lists, customs paperwork, and system transactions.
  • Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality issues, lead times) and escalate risks proactively.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, Quality, and Finance to secure seamless operations during the ramp-up phase.
  • Drive the implementation of logistics standards (5S, safety, labeling, FIFO, warehouse layout optimization).
  • Cookware with Group Procurement to ensure adherence to preferred suppliers, negotiated conditions, and purchasing policies.
  • Support forecasting processes and contribute to budget planning for materials and logistics costs.

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated mechanical acumen
  • Ability to work in fast-paced JIT (just-in-time) manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in process management to ensure production efficiency
  • Relentless determination and courage to make things happen; strong execution skills; results-oriented
  • Ability to respond quickly to changing demands, processes, and updated information
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality processes and continuous improvement, such as Six Sigma certification
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact across all levels of the organization, while accomplishing organizational goals
  • Demonstrated knowledge of capital management (P&L and capital budgets) and analyzing financial data
  • Established courses of action for self and/or others to accomplish specific planning goals
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely
  • Decisive, action-oriented, and able to manage deliverables effectively
  • Strong sense of ownership and flexibility when operational challenges occur
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Enjoys finding solutions to problems and has a hands-on mentality
  • Energy and drive to motivate positive change within the team
