Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will provide consistent leadership and operational excellence in manufacturing by overseeing the production activities of leads and operators in the department. You’ll ensure all product is produced on time, meets or exceeds the company’s quality standards, and all work is performed in a safe, efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, organization, and production of high-quality products within the department.
- Staff, select, train, and motivate production leads and operators.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the production team to meet operational goals.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to proactively resolve production issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation and paperwork.
- Provide training to department leads and operators on GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, internal controls, and best practices.
- Drive production and quality-improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and yield.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, quality requirements, and good manufacturing practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to people, products, processes, and equipment.
- Maintain high levels of service to internal customers and ensure department commitments are met.
- Monitor safety programs, product quality metrics, and production efficiency to achieve departmental targets.
Requirements
- 4+ years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and quality control systems.
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift 50–60 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in high-temperature environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
