Production Supervisor
About the Role
Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking two full-time Production Supervisors for our St. Marys, PA location. This position reports to the Manager of Primary Operations and operates on a 3x3 night shift schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned cost centers.
- Train and evaluate employees, conducting performance reviews.
- Facilitate daily and shift-to-shift communications.
- Monitor quality and performance objectives for the department.
- Develop and write procedures.
- Ensure employees adhere to company rules, policies, and regulations.
- Administer the labor agreement between the company and Local 502.
- Recommend equipment and manpower needs and contribute to continuous process improvement projects.
- Administer company safety programs and take necessary action to prevent injury and loss.
- Delegate responsibility and authority to employees to ensure efficient departmental operations.
Requirements
- Strong people skills and supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of the powdered metal process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comprehend procedures, process documents, and work instructions.
Pay
Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. Base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
Schedule
3x3 night shift, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
