Production Supervisor
US Lumber, an SBP Brand, is seeking a Working Production Supervisor to oversee production operations and ensure manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Many responsibilities of this position will be performed in an outdoor environment.
About the role
This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and direction for a wood processing production team
- Attain daily production goals, manufacturing efficiencies, and product quality
- Organize machinery placement to maximize production flow
- Manage inventory usage and waste; be creative in utilizing all material
- Ensure employee safety and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Handle multiple projects and see them through to successful completion
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Forklift experience
- Willingness to work in and tolerate outdoor environments in all seasons
