Production Supervisor

About the role

This position will oversee the production of Cream Cheese and operates a shift of 5pm-5am Thursday, Friday, Saturday and 1 Sunday a month. Additional compensation provided includes an additional $10,000 relocation bonus and a generous relocation package if relocating more than 50 miles for the position. Off-shift bonuses up to $10,000 annually and extra shift bonuses are also available.

Responsibilities

• Engage your team by communicating expectations and providing ongoing performance feedback.
• Guide a team of production partners to maximize efficiencies and achieve daily production goals.
• Assist in overseeing company, plant or department processes and programs.
• Maintain training to ensure team is prepared for success.
• Support diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in alignment with company commitments.
• Daily problem solving to identify waste and cost reduction opportunities.
• Resolve roadblocks to maximize production efficiencies.
• Collaborate with others to drive efforts serving our customer obsession.
• Develop and demonstrate knowledge of various government regulations.
• Represent the plant with regulatory, customer, and internal audits.
• Establish and audit standard operating procedures which define and monitor processes to ensure customer requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in dairy, food science, agriculture, business, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of proven leadership or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate with influence both written and verbally.
• Proactive, self-accountable, focus on solutions not problems, and continuous desire to learn, grow and improve themselves and their roles.
• Ability to collaborate with partners from diverse backgrounds and ensure a culture rooted in dignity and respect of others.
• Physical requirements include ability to Stand- Up to 12 hours per day, Walk- Up to 60 minutes per hour, Sit- Up to 15 minutes per hour, Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds, Bend/Squat/Twist.
