Production Supervisor

About the role
This is an onsite position in New Albany, IN, operating on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM. The Production Supervisor leads daily bottling operations, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement across assigned production lines. This hands-on leader develops team members, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and cultivates a culture of operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop hourly production team members while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee daily bottling operations to ensure production, quality, and efficiency goals are achieved while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor production performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
- Partner with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and leadership teams to resolve operational issues, optimize line performance, and support business objectives.
- Manage production documentation, employee performance, and workforce planning activities to ensure efficient operations and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze production data and make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operating environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical equipment, elevated noise levels, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Schedule
Rotating 2-2-3 schedule with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM.
