About the role

Oversees daily operations, ensuring efficient concrete production. Responsibilities include managing production schedules, supervising staff, and enforcing safety protocols. Monitor equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with maintenance teams. Coordinates raw material deliveries, maintains inventory, and optimizes production processes. Effective communication with team members, management, and other departments is essential for seamless plant operations.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory experience including team building, facilitation, mentoring and follow-through
  • Knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure and shipping and fulfillment
  • Demonstrated ability to provide direction, develop and lead a team, provide strategic direction, and inspire the team to achieve key goals in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ability to apply problem solving techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and ability to present oneself and communicate in a professional, positive, and courteous manner at all times with all levels of team members
  • Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals
  • Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic and dedication
  • Valid drivers’ license and ability to travel 5-10 percent of the time to locations and/or meetings
