About the Role

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production process and the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers. You will oversee day-to-day production activities, coordinate schedules, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Achieve desired production performance results across all KPIs, including tracking and ownership of improvement for key KPIs.
• Supervise and direct the work of direct reports (25 to 35) across assigned shift.
• Identify projects to drive reduction of waste and increase efficiency.
• Responsible for safety compliance and environmental policies, ensuring all employees adhere to these policies, including basic housekeeping and 5S.
• Utilize time-keeping system to monitor and approve work hours.
• Assist in projects related to safety and process improvements.
• Work cross-functionally with maintenance and quality to ensure optimal production and that products meet specifications.
• Ensure employees have the proper training and tools to perform their job effectively and efficiently.
• Actively lead and/or participate in plant Safety Committees, OEE workshops and projects, 5S and kaizen projects, etc.
• Assist on the production line when needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years plastics blow molding operations (injection of preforms, 2-Stage, EBM, ISBM, IBM).
• Strong leadership and people skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, including assembly, machining, and quality control.
• Proven history of implementing process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in using production management software and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety regulations and ability to promote a safe working environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English (Spanish is a plus).

Schedule

Night shift: 2-2-3 schedule with hours 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
