  • Ensures mandatory, developmental, and refresher training plans are executed.
  • Maintains situational awareness of Utilities / NET systems and escalates emerging risks that may impact overall site performance or external commitments.

Utilities / NET External Interface Authority

During Utilities / NET system upsets or disruptions involving site‑wide services, third‑party interfaces, or external customers, the PS has authority to make immediate operational decisions necessary to protect personnel safety, environmental integrity, and system reliability within established procedures and operating limits. The PS is responsible for timely notification and coordination with the Production Manager, Site Team Leader, and affected stakeholders. Strategic and long‑term recovery decisions remain with site leadership.

Discipline & Accountability

The Production Supervisor is responsible for driving individual and team accountability in alignment with Company HR policies and applicable Union/Management agreements. The PS sets clear expectations, observes performance, provides timely feedback, and addresses gaps through coaching, development, and—when necessary—progressive discipline. The PS is authorized to deliver coaching, documented feedback, and initial stages of positive discipline in accordance with established procedures, with appropriate involvement and oversight from the Production Manager. Accountability actions are expected to be fair, consistent, well‑documented, and focused on reinforcing standards, maintaining safe operations, and supporting individual growth.
