About the role

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the production process, coordinate activities, and ensure adequate resources are available. This role involves planning workers’ schedules, estimating costs, preparing budgets, and ensuring workflow meets required deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and sales in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Recommend hiring, firing, discipline, promotion, or demotion of employees within your span of control.
  • Review production costs and product quality, modifying production and inventory control programs to enhance profitability.
  • Provide leadership for all manufacturing activities on-site, ensuring compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental, and customer requirements.
  • Promote a culture of cost control and productivity, focusing on key performance indicators across manufacturing activities.
  • Assume responsibility for site maintenance, plant and equipment procurement, and implementation of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Participate in the production planning process to align commercial plans with management objectives and budgets.
  • Set aggressive yet achievable targets for productivity, customer service, and safety; monitor progress and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop strong relationships with field sales representatives and customers to meet high service expectations.
  • Work with the Continuous Improvement team to enhance order integrity and implement Lean/Visual management techniques.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by Leadership.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of manufacturing management experience, including 5+ years in lean and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate with high urgency and personal initiative while maintaining strong coordination and communication with staff.
  • Training in Lean or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Full Time: Monday to Friday – Supporting 1st Shift
