Production Supervisor

We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible. The role. We’re hiring Production Supervisors to make sure each shift is safe, organized, and productive. You will translate the production plan into clear assignments, coach the team through problems, and deliver a clean handoff to the next shift. This is a floor leadership role. You will lead from the work, understand the condition of every important order, and step in when the team needs support. You will: Lead shift-start safety meetings and communicate production prioritiesAssign work across material handling, saws, packaging, and shippingMonitor safety, quality, throughput, attendance, and order completionConfirm operators have the materials, tools, and information they needCoach employees in real time and reinforce standard workEscalate equipment, quality, inventory, and staffing issues quicklyMaintain accurate production records and shift handoffsSupport onboarding, training, and equipment qualificationKeep the floor organized and ready for the next shiftComplete other tasks as assigned You are: A credible floor leader who sets the standard through your own behaviorUncompromising about safety and qualityClear, direct, and respectfulOrganized enough to manage multiple orders and people at onceComfortable making decisions with imperfect informationAble to coach, correct, and recognize people consistentlyComfortable with software and operating metricsWilling to work the shift the business assigns Nice to have: Leadership experience in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or distributionExperience with industrial saws, forklifts, cranes, or metal handlingFamiliarity with daily production management or continuous improvementExperience training frontline employeesComfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter Benefits: Equity in Nox MetalsCompany-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance This role is full time and in person in Los Angeles.
