About the role

Coordinates the manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment. Ensures production plans are met by coordinating requirements with the Master Scheduler, Procurement, Material Planning, Engineering, Quality and Sales. Completes production plan by establishing priorities, scheduling activities, shifts and employees; monitoring progress; revising schedules and resolving problems. Maintains production and quality standards ensuring all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments are met.

Provides guidance to the development of manufacturing process plans, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs. Maintains manufacturing staff by planning, coaching, and counseling, monitoring, and developing individuals. Ensures employee safety by performing employee observations, routine inspections, and employee training and retraining.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • AA or BS degree in Business Administration with 1–3 years of progressive manufacturing experience OR 5+ years in a manufacturing setting with increasing responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • General financial knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of legislative safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present information to employees and management.

Pay

Pay range: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 annually. This position is bonus-eligible based on performance metrics and criteria outlined in the applicable bonus plan.

Pay is determined using several job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including responsibilities, work experience, education/training, location, and key skills.
