Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, coach, and develop production team members to achieve performance and productivity goals.
- Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage employee scheduling, attendance, time approvals, time-off requests, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, recruitment, and training initiatives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages engagement and accountability.
- Ensure adherence to standard work processes, KPIs, production goals, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Oversee assigned production functions and ensure daily production targets are met.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure products are manufactured on time and meet quality requirements.
- Implement and maintain efficient production processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and employee performance records.
- Prepare and present production and performance reports to management.
- Effectively manage labor, equipment, materials, and other resources to optimize operational efficiency.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to support continuous improvement and corrective action initiatives.
- Conduct inspections and review production output to identify and address defects or non-conformances.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production experience required.
- 5+ years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strongly preferred experience within the printing industry, including screen, flexographic, and/or digital printing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documentation in English.
- Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control principles.
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
