About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure production objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop production team members to achieve performance and productivity goals.
  • Promote and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Manage employee scheduling, attendance, time approvals, time-off requests, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, recruitment, and training initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages engagement and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to standard work processes, KPIs, production goals, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Oversee assigned production functions and ensure daily production targets are met.
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure products are manufactured on time and meet quality requirements.
  • Implement and maintain efficient production processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, and employee performance records.
  • Prepare and present production and performance reports to management.
  • Effectively manage labor, equipment, materials, and other resources to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production experience required. A minimum of 5 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strongly preferred experience within the printing industry, including screen, flexographic, and/or digital printing environments.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documentation in English.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality systems.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control principles.
  • Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.

Qualifications

A successful Production Supervisor should have:
