Ideal candidate should be from the FMCG or packaging industry, with 2+ years in a supervisory role and hands-on experience in continuous improvement, RCA, TPM, and Autonomous Maintenance (Step 1 and 2). Demonstrated leadership in successfully managing teams.
Schedule
- Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (12-hour shifts, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)
- Weekday Flexibility: Monday through Friday across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, with required weekend flexibility
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and achieve targets across safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale.
- Analyze and eliminate operational losses using autonomous and progressive maintenance standards.
- Support new product development through equipment maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety processes, including safety maps, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), Behavior Observation System (BOS), and Root-Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Perform quality assurance activities to ensure zero harm and 100% good-quality products.
- Allocate resources and ensure availability during shifts.
- Lead shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stop reduction loss analysis, and breakdown elimination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 3 to 5 years of manufacturing or production experience.
- 1 to 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing teams of 15+ people.
- Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Packaging industry.
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Familiarity with safety frameworks such as LOTO, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and BOS.
- Practical exposure to systems like TPM, SAP/ERP, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated track record with quantified results showing operational impact.
Skills
- Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems.
- Capability to maintain equipment at basic conditions independently, including executing AM and PM standards.
- Proficiency in Total Productive Maintenance and Six Sigma, including qualification of AM steps 5–6 and PM step 3.
- Strong leadership in managing line teams.
- Interpersonal skills for managing challenging situations tactfully.
- Experience influencing stakeholders within a union environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
