About the role
Oversee daily operations to meet production targets, departmental KPIs, and quality standards while ensuring adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Establish priorities, monitor progress, and make adjustments to resolve issues promptly.
- Investigate and resolve quality concerns effectively and promptly.
- Enforce adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to personnel matters.
- Coordinate training and cross-training programs to build a flexible workforce.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback as needed.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and protect company culture.
- Review and approve timecards accurately and on time, ensuring sign-offs are completed before payroll deadlines.
- Assist team leaders in interpreting specifications, job orders, and assigning duties to the line.
- Develop, review, modify, and maintain work instructions and other controlled documents.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (degree may substitute for 1 year).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Oracle or similar) is a plus.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8-10 hours per shift).
- Frequent sitting while observing line operations and conducting paperwork/computer work.
- Frequent reaching, handling, grasping, and fine motor tasks; occasional bending and lifting up to 25 lbs. (up to 75 lbs. with assistance).
- Visual and auditory acuity for inspecting products and monitoring equipment.
- Exposure to manufacturing conditions, including noise, dust, and machinery; compliance with PPE required.
