Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, mentor, and train the team to be the best in the business
• Ensure your team consistently delivers the highest-quality product—on time, every time
• Oversee the day to day activities of a team of production operators
• Set team goals and meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations
• Measure and improve group performance
• Lead daily operations and continuous improvement, including production processes, quality, inventory, and operational safety
• Reduce operational cost, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvement
• Promote a team environment
• Perform special projects/tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus
• Some demonstrated experience in a manufacturing management position, or progressive manufacturing experience in a hands-on position as a team leader
• 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of aerospace products and production requirements
• Understanding of operations processes and principles
• Previous team leadership or people-management
• Hands-on knowledge of MRP systems is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers
• Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer
• Frequently moves inside the office
• Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Occasionally use of steps or ladder
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Seldom to occasionally position self to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Pay

The typical hiring range for this role is $81,000 - $120,000.
