About the role
The Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations within the production facility, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. They are responsible for managing a team of production workers and coordinating with other departments to meet production targets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
- Ensure all equipment and machinery are maintained and operated safely.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they affect production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry-specific safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with production scheduling and inventory management systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
