Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve performance and quality objectives
- Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and equipment utilization to maximize productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
- Identify and resolve production issues while minimizing downtime and operational disruptions
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals, priorities, and performance expectations
- Monitor key production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to support operational goals
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with production scheduling, labor management, and performance tracking
