About the role
The Production Supervisor position oversees the day-to-day operations of the production lines, manages the team of Leads and Operators, and ensures production goals and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production lines and allocate work according to schedule
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of necessary supplies and equipment
- Support onboarding, training, coaching, and evaluation of Lead Operators
- Conduct regular team stand-up meetings and huddles
- Foster a positive work environment and champion a culture of continuous improvement
- Maintain inventory and monitor production progress
- Manage and revise schedules based on priorities
- Initiate adjustments to the production process as needed
- Monitor and report shift production standards SQDC
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and benchmarking
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- HACCP certification preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage workflows
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Experience with continuous improvement practices

Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for up to 100% of the shift
- Walking upstairs and climbing up ladders
- Reaching with hands and arms, including overhead
- Stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
- Communicating clearly
- Lifting up to 60 pounds throughout the day
- Exposure to varying and sometimes uncontrolled temperature conditions, including hot, humid, and cold environments
- Moderate noise levels and moving mechanical parts
- Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
