About the role

The Production Supervisor position oversees the day-to-day operations of the production lines, manages the team of Leads and Operators, and ensures production goals and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee production lines and allocate work according to schedule
  • Ensure availability and proper functioning of necessary supplies and equipment
  • Support onboarding, training, coaching, and evaluation of Lead Operators
  • Conduct regular team stand-up meetings and huddles
  • Foster a positive work environment and champion a culture of continuous improvement
  • Maintain inventory and monitor production progress
  • Manage and revise schedules based on priorities
  • Initiate adjustments to the production process as needed
  • Monitor and report shift production standards SQDC
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops and benchmarking

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • HACCP certification preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage workflows
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Experience with continuous improvement practices

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for up to 100% of the shift
  • Walking upstairs and climbing up ladders
  • Reaching with hands and arms, including overhead
  • Stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
  • Communicating clearly
  • Lifting up to 60 pounds throughout the day
  • Exposure to varying and sometimes uncontrolled temperature conditions, including hot, humid, and cold environments
  • Moderate noise levels and moving mechanical parts
  • Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision, and ability to adjust focus
