Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations in the manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. Key responsibilities include supervising a team of workers, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of production workers to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and product delivery.
• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by enforcing safety protocols and addressing hazards promptly.
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and equipment usage.
• Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
