Production Supervisor

About the Role

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet or exceed location operating goals in OEE, spoilage, safety, continuous improvements, cost reduction, and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee approximately 25 hourly associates per shift.
  • Drive results for all aspects of crew operations, including safety, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate production and processing of can/end manufacturing.
  • Read and analyze charts, work orders, maintenance, and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Confer with other supervisors and managers to coordinate operations and activities across the facility.
  • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
  • Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and determine problem-solving solutions.
  • Ensure safe operation of all equipment and train associates as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to production and processing standards.
  • Address employee complaints and grievances in coordination with management.
  • Enforce all company procedures and policies applicable to the operation.
  • Ensure production quality and maintenance systems are fully operational.

Requirements

  • Willingness to work any shift in a 4/4 schedule operation.
  • Ability to work in a high-speed environment and process information to make effective decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.

Pay

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $85,400 and $128,200 per year. This role is bonus eligible, with incentives based on company performance targets. The final salary will be determined by qualifications, experience, and work location.
