Leggett & Platt · Carthage, MO · 3 wk ago
ManagementFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Remove boilerplate. Let's parse. Job description includes: - Intro about company: "We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Production Supervisor within our operations team to help support our bedding business. Did you know we have been revolutionizing the sleep industry since 1883? ..." This is about the role/company. Could be "About the role" or maybe "About the company". We'll put under "About the role". - Responsibilities: many bullet points: Identify and stop further processing of non-conformances..., Take action to prevent..., Make suggestions..., Know location..., Reports to..., Responsible for department housekeeping..., Help to create..., Analyze machines..., Work hours..., Will work closely and have duties in the following areas: SAFETY..., QUALITY..., PRODUCTION..., etc. So we need to list responsibilities as
  • . - Requirements: "To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need Knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company. Product familiarity, including the product structures. Good communication skills and the ability to motivate employees. Ability to perform job independently. 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment." Also "Things We Consider a Plus Bachelor's Degree". So requirements: knowledge, product familiarity, communication, ability to work independently, 1-2 years leadership experience. Plus: Bachelor's degree considered a plus. - Qualifications: maybe same as requirements? Could separate but we can combine. The instruction: Use sections only when posting has real specific content. We have content for About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications (maybe duplicate), Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have schedule: "Work hours are 10:30pm – 7:30am CST". That's schedule. Pay: Not mentioned. So we should NOT include Pay section. Benefits: Not mentioned explicitly. No benefits listed. So omit Benefits. Skills: Could extract from responsibilities: safety, quality, production, TPM, etc. But we might treat skills as separate section if there is explicit list. The posting includes "Knowledge of the manufacturing process", "Product familiarity", "Good communication skills", "Ability to motivate employees", "Ability to perform job independently", "1-2 years of leadership experience". Those could be skills. But we already have Requirements. Might combine. However we need to follow instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we have About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (which includes qualifications and skills), Schedule. That's four sections. We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, values, privacy notice, etc. Remove those. We must preserve all substantive information. So we need to include the historical intro, the mission statements, etc. Ensure we keep all details. Let's craft HTML:

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and stop further processing of non-conformances related to products, processes, or the quality systems.
    • Take action to prevent non-conformities related to the product produced, services provided or the ISO 9001:2015 management system.
    • Make suggestions for improvement and verify the implementation of solutions.
    • Know the location of and understand their control plans, work instructions and specifications.
    • Reports to Building Superintendent and Shift Superintendent.
    • Responsible for department housekeeping, organization, and scrap removal.
    • Help to create a pleasurable work environment for employees.
    • Analyze machines to determine machine update/overhaul requirements.
    • Work hours are 10:30pm – 7:30am CST.
    • Will work closely and have duties in the following areas:
      • SAFETY: Inspect working areas of employees throughout department; Maintain safe working environment; Lead Safety Committee in the departments as needed; Must know and be responsible for proper procedures for accident reporting, methods, and investigation; Must know and be responsible for MSDS, blood borne pathogen, hearing conservation, OSHA standards, environmental and hazardous material programs, and other personnel programs; Handle emergency medical situations.
      • Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM).
      • QUALITY: Perform quality checks in the departments; Ensure that quality check stations are maintained daily; Ensure employees follow all quality programs in the departments; Ensure the department maintains ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
      • PRODUCTION: Oversee employees and work with other supervisors in the departments; Ensure all employees receive proper training, achieve each appropriate training level, and get any tools that they may need to do a good job; Ensure people in departments are working at highest efficiency potential; Must complete all necessary paperwork as outlined in Intelex (i.e., LPCS, Work Instructions and Server Files) by respective due dates; Must have knowledge pertaining to inventory procedures, including RF scanning procedures; Ensure that preventive maintenance is performed correctly; Work to solve problems in departments; Monitor overtime within departments and initiate better methods through working with supervisors and employees; Complete special work/sales orders; Communicate with Master Production Scheduler, Shift & Department Superintendents if quantities, methods, and product line are not in order or appear to be incorrect; Address problems utilizing factual data; Assist in scheduling overtime; Must have working knowledge of equipment and ability to assist maintenance personnel with questions and work situation as needed; Schedule and organize product flow in order to meet department and Branch goals.
But note: we already have a li for "Will work closely and have duties in the following areas:" then nested ul. That's okay. We need to ensure we don't duplicate content. The "Work hours are 10:30pm – 7:30am CST." appears also as separate bullet; we can keep it. Now Requirements section:

    Requirements

    • Knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
    • Product familiarity, including the product structures.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to motivate employees.
    • Ability to perform job independently.
    • 1-2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree considered a plus.
We could also include "Things We Consider a Plus Bachelor's Degree". Already covered. We might also include "Knowledge of ..." etc. Now Schedule section: we already have work hours in responsibilities but we can also have a Schedule section. However we should not duplicate. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we put work hours in responsibilities, it's still preserved. But we could also create a Schedule section with that detail. However that would duplicate. Better to keep it only once. Since we have a Schedule section requirement, we need to decide if we include it. The posting explicitly states work hours, so we have specific content for Schedule. We could move the work hours bullet to Schedule section and remove from Responsibilities to avoid duplication. But we must preserve all info; moving is fine. Thus we will have:

    Schedule

    Work hours are 10:30pm – 7:30am CST.

And remove that bullet from Responsibilities. Now we need to ensure we didn't include Benefits, Pay sections. Now check for any other specific content: "Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM)" appears as a bullet under responsibilities; we kept. Now check for any mention of "Pay" - none. Now check for "Benefits" - none. Now check for "Qualifications" - we could treat Requirements as qualifications; but we already have Requirements. Could also add Qualifications section with same content but that would be duplicate. Better to keep only Requirements. Now check for "Skills" - we could extract skills like communication, leadership, etc. But we already have them in Requirements. Could add Skills section but would be thin. Better to keep only Requirements. Thus final sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Schedule. Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "Our Values", "Equal Employment Opportunity", etc. We removed. Now output only HTML fragment. Let's craft final HTML. Be careful to close tags properly. We'll produce:
